Ruby Smith is a design strategist, writer and visual artist living in London. Her interests are in popular culture, fan studies and material culture, she is facinated by how the three topics intersect.
She co-authors Soft Thoughts podcast with Jean Oberlander, which focuses on our relationship to textiles.
Ruby has spoken at academic conferences, The Kimposium at Brunel University and Birmingham University Pop Culture Conference.
She has taught workshops at Kingston University and Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft.
